Taylor + Dan | engagement session at the park of the roses
park of the roses in clintonville, ohio engagement session by Jessica love photography.
It’s hard to not start an engagement session post saying “I can’t wait for their wedding next March!” but, also, this is a moment. I really enjoy engagement sessions because it’s such a wonderful time for you, being photographed, to stop the grind of your daily life + actually celebrate your love for each other. Being engaged is a constant state of change + planning. Sometimes it’s just nice to be. BUT that being said, I can't wait for their spring wedding at Oak Grove! (also who does she look like!? she reminded me, though my camera of Chrissy Teigen!)
Jena + Cody | engagement session

I love seasonal light, these take me right back to the late winter day we met for an engagement session, pre COVID! can’t wait to celebrate their first day of spring wedding at Jorgensen Farm’s Oak Grove!
Rebecca + Evan || Married at Jorgensen Farm's Historic Barn
Rebecca and Evan were married summer 2019 at Jorgensen Farm's historic barn, shot by Jessica love photography
It’s so fun(ny?) to look back at 2019 weddings, which feel like they JUST happened, and see the world of difference in how weddings are happening in 2020. But, sometimes isn’t a break from the reality exactly what we all need? especially this year? Take a look back at Rebecca + Evan’s wedding with me, and as you look; here’s a fun detail: they planned it in just a few weeks! They saw the opportunity and jumped on it. I think they did a pretty great job! (and if that’s not some inspiration to you, if you’re planning your wedding while navigating this COVID world, it should be! You can do it, you can do anything!)
Shot on digital and film with some fun double exposures on Ektachrome (man, I miss shooting film, sort of? this year is so weird!)
Venue: Jorgensen Farms
Florals: Jorgensen Floral
Christina + Matt | Married at Orchard House
micro wedding in Granville, ohio at the orchard house bed and breakfast.
So here we are. In a world of wedding planning, wedding shooting (?) in a pandemic. So where do you start? HOW DO YOU EVEN KNOW? I honestly can’t imagine being in the position that you guys out there might be in. I can start, though, by talking about a venue that has opened up their space to accommodate those of you who might be looking to be married in a more intimate setting - The Orchard House in Granville. The pine forest is nothing short of magical, and I’m here to say that even if you weren’t expecting to plan a private elopement with just a few of your closest family members, you will still feel special if you choose this route. This wasn’t an elopement, It was from September 2019, but I think you’ll get the way that it can be special for events large + small.
Belkis + Brandon | married at Corazon
fall wedding at Corazon in Columbus Ohio by Jessica Love, shot on digital and film
I’m always so pleasantly surprised by how much I absolutely adore this venue! Like, I don’t leave the 270 loop enough, but when I get to, it’s always certainly worth it!
So that’s the superficial version of what happened on B + B’s wedding day. What touched me more than the beauty of the venue, the day, and the details were the absolutely magical hearts of Belkis + Brandon. I’m not sure I’ve ever met more genuine and positive people in my life. Belkis reminded me, in her honesty and near constant action of lifting the people she came in contact with up, how important it is to live in the moment + be certain that the people around you know how you feel about them. It was a magical day, filled with all the love PLUS the beauty of Corazon! Film + Digital mixed together!
